Edge Drainage
When paired with a free draining balcony flooring solution, the BalcaSmart Frame Soffit System – Edge Drainage captures rainwater that falls through the floor and flows to a drip edge at the front of the balcony where it is directed away from the building. Designed in accordance with BS 8579:2020 and NHBC’s guidance, you can rest assured this is an entirely compliant solution.
- Complies with BS 8579:2020 for balconies projecting less than 2.5m
- Hidden fixing detail providing a seamless look
- 6 standard colours (any RAL colour available on additional lead-time)
- Non-combustible, class A fire rated
Positive Drainage
When paired with a free-draining balcony flooring solution, the BalcaSmart Frame Soffit System – Positive Drainage captures rainwater that falls through the floor and directs it to a gutter which can be connected to the building’s drainage system. Designed in accordance with BS 8579:2020 and NHBC’s guidance, you can rest assured this is an entirely compliant solution.
